I began Pilates while receiving physical therapy for a frozen shoulder. Once my rehabilitation allowed me to move my shoulder again, my next step was to keep it mobile so I enrolled in Pilates classes. It is wonderful to feel strong and to have improvement in my posture. I am also an accomplished gardener. I know that Pilates classes have enabled me to enjoy it more because it has increased my strength and flexibility and has given me more endurance.
Shortly after Roxanna opened The Pilates Place, at its current location, I decided to come to an Open House. I was hooked! I loved how I felt after just one 15-minute session. I became a regular at the studio and eventually was hired to work with Lisa at the front desk.
I have taken the Pilates principles with me wherever I go. Pilates has helped me to stay strong, improve my balance, breathe deeply and stay pain-free.
I am very happy to have returned to The Pilates Place to work with such a caring group of people. I look forward to helping you get started on your Pilates journey.
